Isatori-ISA-Test-GF-Review

After saturating the review market for USA, we started to look at what was popular in other countries – and found that ISA-Test was at the top of the testosterone booster list.

Claimed to promote:

  • Muscle gains
  • Increased strength
  • Enhanced sporting performance

It’s interesting that this isn’t a best seller in the USA, but it’s popular outside. So we’re excited to see how effective this test booster actually is.

Take a look:

About The Company

iSatori are a supplements brand that were set up in 2001 – they aim to deliver honest products that are high quality (they state that ‘integrity is the cornerstone of their business’).

As a result, we’re pretty suprised to see that ISA-Test GF contains proprietary blends – hiding ingredients inside blends doesn’t seem very honest to us…

Anyway, we’ll expand on this below.

The Ingredients and How They Work

We just mentioned above that Isa-Test GF contains proprietary blends – this is always a warning sign to us, and we never recommend that you consume supplements containing these blends.

If you’re wondering what they are, then here you go: In a nutshell, proprietary blends are when companies hide numerous nutrients under a fancy title – the problem is, you’re only given the overall dosage instead of the individual dosages of each ingredient.

This means you’ll never know how effective the overall product will be, so you can’t be sure you’re getting good value for money.

However, it’s not all bad news for ISA-Test GF; this test booster contains some nutrients that have shown to work in numerous studies. We’ll be here all day if we go through all of the ingredients, so we’ll examine the most important nutrients for you.

See for yourself:

Tribulus Terrestris

Not a good start by iSatori here. Tribulus Terrestris inside a proprietary blend is never good news; in a nutshell, it’s shown to increase the weight of your prostate without delivering any useful benefits.

This side effect can lead to severe issues such as prostate cancer – which is something you want to avoid at all costs. As a result, we recommend to avoid any supplements containing this ingredient (especially when it’s inside a proprietary blend).

Tongkat Ali

Also known as Eurocoma Longifolia, it’s been used in traditional medicine for a while (as it’s believed to improve testosterone levels and libido).

While it’s shown to have a minor effect on libido, studies have shown that it has no effect on your test levels. As this is a testosterone booster, we’re expecting the best ingredients proven to raise your T levels – unfortunately, Tongkat Ali doesn’t offer this benefit.

Grape Seed Extract

This is an interesting choice of nutrient to add to a testosterone booster – it’s mainly known in the supplements industry as supposedly being able to improve your blood flow (due to containing high amounts of nitrates).

However, studies have shown that it has no effect on testosterone levels. The only potential positive we can think of, is that grape seed extract might strengthen your erections due to being able to slightly improve your blood flow – but no studies have actually proven this.

As a result, Grape Seed Extract is liklely to be an ineffective nutrient inside iSatori’s ISA-Test GF.

Fenugreek Seed Extract

iSatori have slightly pulled it back here; Fenugreek Seed Extract is one of our favorite testosterone boosting ingredients – as it’s shown to work in numerous studies.

Not only that, Fenugreek is able to work in small amounts of 100mg (compare this to nutrients such as D-Aspartic Acid which needs 2,000mg to work, and you’ll see that 100mg is tiny).

As a result, it’s always good to see this on ingredient lists. However, as you already know, it’s contained in a proprietary blend (meaning you don’t know the exact dosage inside ISA-Test GF).

No-one knows whether there’s even 100mg inside this test booster, so we can’t be sure how effective Fenugreek Seed Extract will be here.

Mucuna Pruriens Extract

Also known as Velvet Bean due to it’s furry texture, this has also shown to boost your testosterone levels in numerous studies.

Not only that, Mucuna Pruriens has also shown to raise your HGH levels, which further promotes increased muscle gains and strength – exactly the kind of benefits you want when taking testosterone boosters.

Now, we might sound like a broken record player – but this might not work here, as it’s contained in a proprietary blend. Studies show that you need at least 300mg Mucuna Pruriens, but there’s no way of telling there’s an effective dosage in ISA-Test GF.

Nettle Extract

This plant is known for stinging you after touching it – but not many people know that it can promote testosterone levels in dosages above 150mg.

However, as it’s inside a proprietary blend, you’ll never know whether it’s contained in this optimal dosage (so no-ones sure how effective it really is).

Hesperidin

This compound is found in orange feels and is believed to improve circulation and boost cognition. However, studies have shown that Hesperidin works best in dosages of 500mg – as the proprietary blend adds up to 100mg overall, it’s impossible for there to be an effective amount in ISA-Test GF.

As a result, Hesperidin won’t be effective in this test booster (but it hasn’t shown to raise your testosterone levels anyway).

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Mucuna Pruriens proven to boost test and HGH levels
  • Nettle Extract & Feugreek shown to raise test levels

Cons:

  • Contains 3 proprietary blends
  • Numerous ineffective nutrients
  • Missing key testosterone boosting ingredients

Side Effects

The main concern with ISA-Test GF is that it contains Tribulus Terrestris in a proprietary blend.

As we’ve mentioned in the review, Tribulus is one of the nutrients we avoid, as it’s been reported to increase your prostate weight (which can potentially lead to prostate cancer – something you don’t want to risk).

Ultimately, proprietary blends increase your risk of suffering from side effects; you’ll never know whether an ingredient has been underdosed or overdosed, which can cause harm if you’re not careful.

Here’s the side effects you might experience with this test booster:

  • Increased prostate weight
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Eczema

Review Conclusion

After analyzing this testosterone booster, we’re actually quite surprised that this is popular outside of the USA; there are much better products available around the world, and we don’t believe ISA-Test GF can keep up with the competition.

Ultimately, this test booster puts you at risk of suffering from side effects – so we can’t recommend it to you (our readers). We only recommend products that contain 100% natural ingredients, without any proprietary blends, and haven’t been reported to cause any side effects.
