With so many fat burners out there on the market, it can be difficult to make a choice of which one is right for you.
Primeburn from Bauer Nutrition has tried to make that decision for you, offering as much of their product as financially possible with their ‘Buy three, get three more free’ option, no matter what currency you use, that’s an incredible saving.
Or is it?
Either, Bauer really want to save the customer money, or their product could be hideously overpriced to begin with – but then that begs the question: why would they offer a 60-day money back guarantee?
According to Bauer Nutrition, Primeburn fights fat in four ways:
- Increase in Energy Levels
- Increase in Thermogenesis
- Increase in Metabolism
- Suppresses Appetite
It’s certainly an interesting case, so I’ve been looking into Primeburn to get to the bottom of the matter.
About the Company
Bauer Nutrition are a Scottish company that originally operated solely in the UK. Over time their empire has grown, shipping to customers on an international level with deliveries in Europe, the US and Australia.
In their mission statement Bauer state “We like our customers to know that there’s no such thing as a ‘magic pill’ to help you change your life”, which I totally agree with, quite a few supplement companies seem to heavily imply the opposite to close a sale.
The Ingredients and how they work
With a standard and fair administration of this supplement, Primeburn directs for a serving three times a day before each meal. If Primeburn is an effective supplement, this would be a steady way to load it, keeping it’s benefits at a consistent level.
Before we get carried away, it’s probably best to have a look at the ingredients:
a-LACY RESET Formula 200mg – Unfortunately, this is a proprietary blend designed by Bauer. They describe it on their website as something that “supports your metabolism and enables your body to burn more fat through thermogenesis. Scientific trials have proved it can help you lose body weight and fat mass” – considering there’s no links to these trials or any transparent definition of this ingredient I’m just going to move on.
Garcinia Cambogia 100mg – There is a theory that GC can help with the prevention of fat storage in humans. Although there is no definitive proof.
Citrus Aurantium 100mg – Also known as Bitter Orange. This is another unproven weight loss aid, that when mixed with caffeinated herbs can cause harmful side effects.
Guarana Extract 100mg – A caffeinated herb that produces thermogenic qualities in the body, it also increases energy levels, metabolism and alertness.
Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) 50mg – Has been shown to increase leptin levels in the body. This hormone effects food intake in the body, and may lead to a suppressed appetite.

Side Effects
There are two main issues you could face with Primeburn. The first one, in my opinion, is fear of the unknown. And by that I mean the leading ingredient ‘a-LACY RESET Formula’.
This proprietary blend doesn’t even give us a hint of what to expect for its content. It is a sheer lack of respect for the consumer to not divulge that information – worst case scenario they have some niche allergy to the undisclosed component and the product is recalled. It is a humongous red flag for the product, and I hope they rectify this mistake soon.
The second problem is the inclusion of Bitter Orange Extract in Primeburn. Now, this is a weight-loss ingredient that has been kicked around by most supplements but never really provides any results. There is no proof that it helps to lose weight, but there is for it reacting poorly with caffeinated herbs, like Guarana. This combination could lead to heart problems, raised blood pressure and a whole host of severe issues. Alone, Bitter Orange has been known to cause headaches in some users.
It is a bad ingredient and should be removed.

Primeburn Review Conclusion
When I first came across Primeburn, I was impressed with the company ethos that supplements and hard work go hand-in-hand when it comes to seeing results.
However, after seeing what goes into Primeburn I became a little discouraged. Their ingredient choice was just not impressive enough to really bring that point home to me – and it seems that their two-way street argument is their way to weasel out of an ineffective product.
I wouldn’t recommend buying Primeburn – if they decide to release the contents of their proprietary blend’s formula we can reassess. Until then – steer clear.
