MuscleTronic Review

| ,

Muscle Tronic is a relatively new supplement on the market that claims to be a testosterone booster, fat burner and nootropic.

A very dangerous move.

Giving a supplement so many aims can weaken it’s ability to do any of them. There’s only so many ingredients you can have in a serving.muscletronic-review

And that may have been what’s happened here.

I was looking forward to seeing MuscleTronic, after hearing a lot about it online – but on the whole I was disappointed, and for several reasons.

Here’s why:

About the Company – The Ergo Group

MuscleTronic does not mention the company behind their production. All they say is that it is made by ‘a trusted name that has been a leader in the supplements industry for over a decade’.

I contacted the MuscleTronic team and was told the company behind this was the Ergo Group – an investment company based in Dubai which is incredibly difficult to find any information on.

They don’t mention MuscleTronic or their passion for supplements. It seems that they’re more just after scoring a profit out of ‘health and wellness’.

Which would explain the ingredients:

MuscleTronic: The Ingredients and how they work

The servings in MuscleTronic aren’t the best – but they aren’t the worst either. With only two servings a day, there’s only so much you can expect to get out of this product.

For constant fat burning, or testosterone boosting (whatever your main aim is with this product) requires around 3 – 4 servings a day.

This ensures that your body is constantly supplied with the nutrient it needs to constantly burn fat and raise T.

However, it’s difficult to do both these things at once, MuscleTronic is a very confused supplement.

Just take a look at this ingredient list:

Alpha-GPC 75mg Underdosed

This is a cognitive enhancer that you’d usually find in a nootropic. The additional benefit is that it can help towards power output in athletes.

However, there’s a problem.

Studies have shown Alpha-GPC is only effective in the 300 – 600mg range. As MuscleTronic only contains 75mg per servings. There’s not a lot benefit you can get out of this nutrient here.

Alpha Lipoic Acid 300mg

The only credible studies on Alpha Lipoic Acid suggest that it may have a minor effect at increasing blood flow.

Which may give you a mild boost at the gym.

Forskolin 250mg Underdosed

Coleus Forskohlii is a nutrient that has been to help promote minor increases in fat loss and testosterone.

However these effects have only been seen to take place on daily servings around 500mg. Which is double the amount of what’s in MuscleTronic.

Rhodiola Rosea 150mg Underdosed

RR is a great nutrient when it comes to boosting cognition and energy levels, some studies have even seen it help with depression.

However, like Alpha-GPC, this product is heavily under-dosed in MuscleTronic.

To get the full benefit from this nutrient, studies have shown you need to be supplementing at least 300mg or more – again half of what MuscleTronic offers.

Caffeine 150mg

One of the best energy boosters out there and a solid metabolism booster. Caffeine provides you with the energy that you need when you’re working with a lower calorie diet.

L-Theanine 150mg

An amino acid that promotes relaxation. Usually used alongside caffeine, this nutrient helps prevent any jitters you may get from the stimulant.

Citrus Aurantium 100mg Side Effects

Also known as Bitter Orange Extract, currently being used less and less in the industry due to the side effects it causes, especially when it’s mixed with caffeine or caffeinated herbs like Green Tea.

Overall it’s pretty unclear what kind of product MuscleTronic is trying to be – Fat Burner, T-Booster or Nootropic.muscletronic-reviews

But it seems to have spread itself too thin, and seems to fall short of delivering any of these benefits.

Side Effects

You may notice side effects with the mixture of caffeine and Citrus Aurantium in MuscleTronic – and they should be taken very seriously.

These effects can include:

  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • High Blood Pressure Risk

Some of these symptoms have even been reported from Citrus Aurantium without synephrine.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Contains Caffeine

Cons

  • Poor serving schedule
  • Unclear supplement benefits
  • Under-dosed ingredients
  • Potential Side Effects

Review Conclusion

Overall this is a pretty ineffective supplement.

MuscleTronic takes a too greedy approach to the supplement market and tries to fall into all the main categories in attempt to try and sell the most product.

This appears to be because it’s produced by the Ergo Group, an investment company based in Dubai that may just be trying to make as much money as possible.

Unfortunately in doing so it’s under-dosed itself entirely – and failed in every area.

On top of that it may also cause side effects due to the poor choice of ingredients – for example mixing Citrus Aurantium with Caffeine.

The servings aren’t the best either with only 2 a day, a lot could be done to improve benefits it could make on your body.

In closing, I would not recommend this product for anyone looking to make progress in the gym.
