LipoTHERM Elite Review

|

LipoTHERM Elite is presented in an interesting white label bottle. It looks very pharmaceutical and trustworthy, but we never recommend a supplement until we see whether the ingredients are safe and effective.

This is exactly what we’ll be looking at in this review.

Claimed to promote:

  • Energy levels
  • Decreased water retention
  • Metablism

We’re glad that Supreme Sports Enhancements has clearly labelled LipoTHERM Elite as designed to decrease water retention; this should be enough to inform customers that it contains a diuretic (in the form of dandelion root extract).

If you didn’t know, we’ll be examining the ingredients inside LipoTHERM Elite later in this review. Take a look:

About The Company

Based in the USA, Supreme Sports Enhancements are a health and fitness company that offers a range of products – including intra workouts and test boosters.

However, their ‘about’ page only contained pictures of their products, without any details of their company itself. As a result, we’ll be moving swiftly onto the next section, where you’ll see which ingredients are inside LipeTHERM elite.

The Ingredients and How They Work

In terms of ingredients, we’re glad that Supreme Sports Enhancements haven’t just thrown a load of ingredients into LipoTHERM Elite.

Instead, they seem to have been more selective, choosing only 5 ingredients to create their fat burner. But the bad news is that they haven’t chosen the best nutrients…

In fact, the first ingredient on the list is something that we try to avoid (synephrine). We’ll provide more details about the ingredients below, that you won’t want to miss.

See for yourself:

Synephrine

We briefly mentioned that synephrine is one ingredient that we try to avoid at all costs. This is because it’s commonly been reported to cause loads of side effects in the past, which has led to a few countries banning it.

Simply put, there’s no need to put potentially harmful ingredients into your body. Especially where there are natural and safe ingredients available on the market, like green coffee bean extract.

As a result, you should avoid products containing synephrine and choose safer options.

Caffeine Anhydrous

This is basically a dehydrated version of caffeine, so it can be added into supplements in powder form. We believe that it’s the best stimulant you can find in fat burners, as it’s a pure form of caffeine – so you can keep an eye on exactly how much you’re consuming.

Why is this important? Answer: to avoid jitters.

Think about it. When you last consumed too much coffee, you suffered from jitters, leading to an energy crash. Well, this is exactly what happens when you consume high dosages of caffeine anhydrous in supplements.

As a result, it’s wise to consume under 100mg caffeine anhydrous in each capsule with fat burners; fortunately, Supreme Sports Enhancements did their research, with the maximum 100mg per capsule added to LipoTHERM Elite.

Dandelion Root Extract

The advertising of LipoTHERM Elite includes ‘decreased water retention’. Well, this is due to dandelion root extract being a diuretic; this means that it encourages your body to urinate more and hold less water.

This means that you’ll look leaner, but remember that it’s not fat that you’ve lost – only water retention.

As a result, we would rather consume a thermogenic nutrient that helps you get rid of body fat, instead of simply looking slimmer short-term. Ingredients such as green tea or green coffee extract are more reliable at promoting fat loss, so we would have preferred them to have been added in LipoTHERM Elite here.

Coleus Forskohlii

This is a herb that’s traditionally been thought to raise testosterone levels and help you lose fat.

However, the problem is that no study has actually proven whether it works or not – so it’s an unreliable ingredient at the moment.

If it is proven to work in the future, then it’ll be an amazing ingredient. But for now, we’ll take green tea extract over coleus forskohlii.

Cayenne Pepper Extract

This is the only key fat burning ingredient in LipoTHERM Elite. If you think about the last time you ate a spicy meal, then you’ll know why – cayenne pepper extract is able to raise your body temperature, which makes your body work harder to regulate its temperature.

Basically, this results in your body burning more calories than before, allowing you to burn more fat in the process.

However, it’s just a shame that only a tiny 50mg dosage has been added; this won’t be enough for any ingredient to take effect. If Supreme Sports Enhancement spent more time doing their research, they would have increased the dosage of cayenne pepper extract and removed synephrine.

Side Effects

There are a few side effects that you might suffer from when taking LipoTHERM Elite. Basically, as dandelion root extract is a diuretic, it can cause severe dehyration if you don’t increase your water intake.

Review Conclusion

In all fairness, LipoTHERM Elite isn’t the worst product we’ve ever seen. It provides you with the dosages of each ingredient, without them being hidden in any proprietary blends, which is always good to see.

However, you can’t ignore that LipoTHERM Elite can cause side effects; the main potential risks being nausea and dehydration from the dandelion root extract and synephrine respectively.

But we will also acknowledge that Supreme Sports Enhancement has tried to make their customers aware that LipoTHERM Elite is able to ‘decrease their water retention’ too.

The bottom line is that LipoTHERM Elite isn’t your best option when it comes to choosing a fat burner. We would have preferred it to contain better ingredients proven to work.
