eFlow Nutrition have become a respected brand in the supplements industry – which is why we’re putting the spotlight on their fat burner in this review, Encinerate.
Claimed to promote:
- Energy
- Boost in metabolism
- Fat loss
- Suppressed appetite
From first glance, we like that eFlow Nutrition has kept the ingredient list short; we hate products that contain over 10 ingredients, as it’s not necessary to add this many.
But before we take a look at what’s inside Encinerate, we’ll tell you a bit about the company behind this fat burner.
About The Company
There wasn’t any information available about when this supplements company were founded on their website – but we like that they manufacture their products in GMP certified facilities (making them safe).
However, we have to point out that their ‘about us’ section was one of the worst we’ve read; it didn’t offer much information, and we didn’t learn much about this company as a result.
The Ingredients and How They Work
We’ve mentioned that eFlow Nutrition kept the ingredients list short and sweet – with 8 ingredients making up Encinerate, we can see exactly how effective this fat burner is.
However, we did spot something we didn’t like: a proprietary blend. All the ingredients inside Encinerate are part of the ‘Fat Encinerating blend’ – so no-one knows the exact dosage of the nutrients, which increases your risk of side effects.
Anyway, you’re reading this section to learn about the ingredients inside this fat burner – and this is exactly what we’ll give you.
See for yourself:
Caffeine Anhydrous
This is our favorite stimulant in fat burner supplements – everyone knows it’s safe as it’s consumed in tea and coffee on a daily basis.
So what does it do? Well, it’s shown to improve your sporting performance by enhancing your strength, endurance, and focus levels – but in a fat burner, the main benefit is the energy boosts.
When you’re cutting calories, you’ll be lower on energy levels than usual; as a result, caffeine can help you get through your day topped without feeling tired.
L-Tyrosine
We’re not sure why eFlow Nutrition has added l-tyrosine to this fat burner; basically, the main benefit that this ingredient offers is improved cognition.
Don’t get us wrong, being smarter is always a good thing – but you don’t buy a fat burner for this reason. We prefer to see nutrients that’re proven to promote fat loss.
Green Tea Extract
eFlow Nutrition has brought it back here. Green tea extract is a key fat burning nutrient that’s shown to work many times in studies.
It’s been used for centuries in Asia, and it’s benefits have been known for equally as long; as well as promoting fat loss, modern studies prove that green tea extract benefits almost every organ in your body.

Bitter Orange Extract
Also known as synephrine, this is one of the ingredients we always try to avoid. Here’s why; synephrine’s been banned in a few countries after causing harmful side effects.
We always stay away from banned substances, or any nutrients that have been shown to commonly cause side effects.
Guarana Extract
Guarana is a fruit that delivers similar effects as caffeine (as it’s a stimulant). The problem is, no-one can be sure of the exact caffeine content inside this ingredient – meaning your risk of suffering from side effects such as jitters are increased.
Not only that. eFlow Nutritino has made the mistake of adding this nutrient inside a proprietary blend (so you don’t even know the dosage of guarana in Encinerate).
Ultimately, this puts you at bigger risk of suffering side effects; this is an example of why we avoid supplements containing proprietary blends.
Raspberry Extract (Ketones)
This is one of the biggest gimmicks in the supplements industry, so we’re not impressed here. Basically, Raspberry Ketones gained attention for being some kind of ‘miracle’ ingredient – but studies showed that it didn’t work.
However, supplement companies still add this ingredient to their fat burners – to fool those that don’t know it doesn’t work.
Dandelion Root Extract
This is diuretic (meaning it encourages your body to urinate more). However, this isn’t a good thing; diuretics can fool you into thinking you’re losing body fat, when really all that’s happening is you’re losing water retention.
This is why low carb diets are popular; they allow you to lose water retention, making you lose water weight and tricking you into thinking you’ve lost fat at a rapid rate.
The average person won’t know that dandelion root extract is a diuretic – which can actually be dangerous. If you’re consuming a diuretic, then you’ll have to increase your water intake to keep yourself hydrated.
Rhodiola Rosea
Rhodiola rosea is one of our favorite pre workout ingredients, but it’s not really needed in a fat burner supplement.
Here’s why: this nutrient has shown to reduce fatigue while improving your cognition – but these aren’t key reasons why you buy a fat burner.
Ultimately, we believe fat burners should be filled with nutrients proven to promote fat loss instead. However, rhodiola rosea certainly isn’t the worst ingredient inside Encinerate.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Contains a sensible dosage of caffeine
- Green Tea Extract is a key fat burning nutrient
Cons:
- Contains numerous unnecessary ingredients
- Bitter Orange Extract reported to cause numerous side effects
- Contains a proprietary blend
- Dandelion root extract is a diuretic (not clearly stated that Encinerate contains a diuretic)
- Raspberry Ketones is one of the biggest gimmicks in the industry.
Side Effects
As Encinerate contains a proprietary blend, there’s always the risk that you’ll experience side effects – especially because this fat burner contains 2 forms of stimulants (caffeine and guarana).
In a nutshell, there’s no need to add 2 different stimulants into 1 fat burner; eFlow Nutrition should’ve simply increased the dosage of caffeine instead of adding guarana too.
Not only that, Encinerate contains a diuretic without this being clearly labelled – this can cause severe dehydration to those that aren’t aware that dandelion is a diuretic.
The side effects you might suffer after taking this fat burner are:
- Jitters
- Energy Crashes
- Anxiety
- Fatigue
- Dry Skin
- Dizziness

Review Conclusion
Ultimately, we always avoid supplements that contain proprietary blends – there’s simply no benefit in including these blends, but they increase your risk of suffering from side effects (and also wasting your money, as you can’t see whether nutrients have been dosed optimally).
Not only that, Encinerate only contains 1 ingredient shown to promote fat loss (green tea extract). We prefer to see more than just 1 in a fat burner, so this can’t compete with our favorite products on the market.
